Welcome!

This is now officially my new site!  It was just too much for me to be updating a blog AND a website, so now the two are combined and I am a happy girl.  There is fresh content coming soon and that should be more of a regular occurrence, so stay tuned! 

2010 is a year of change for me personally, so you will see me document a lot more than just photography.  In fact, the last wedding I'll be shooting is on March 14th.  So if you are looking for a wedding photographer, shoot me an email and I'll give you a list of AMAZING photographers for you to check out!

[Married] Mike & Allison

I had a blast shooting Mike & Allison’s wedding!  It was so much fun!  They are seriously the coolest, most down to earth, fun-loving people!  Their wedding day was beautiful, and so was Allison!

I love the silhouette shot my brother got of Mike in the natural light.

I was in LOVE with Allison’s bouquet!!

The choreographed father-daughter dance was a complete surprise to us all!  It was AWESOME!

 This was a special day for my brother Nate and I, because it may be the last wedding we shoot together in awhile.  He’s moving to Nashville!!  [single tear]  We were honored to have Connie Riggio as a part of our team for the day!  Her pics are awesome too and you can see them here!

[Married] Jak & Suzanne – Part 2

I had to start off this blog post with the awesome ring shots that my husband got!  Great job babe! 

Jessica took a seat around the corner while Jak & Suzanne did communion.  Isn’t she beautiful?

We love and miss you Grandma Leona!

I just love Jak’s expression while he watches his bride dance with her father!  And you can clearly see the love he has for his Mom!

[Contest] Name that Roller Girl!

So did you all get a chance to see Whip It?  If not, I strongly suggest you do!  It was such a fun movie, and all the ladies did a great job representing a VERY COOL , not to mention, intense sport known as Roller Derby.

So guess what?  I’ve joined a new startup derby team!  I am having SO MUCH FUN learning the sport, but here’s the problem…I cannot think of a name for myself for the life of me.  My wonderful husband has come up with a few that are pretty good.  But nothing has really clicked thus far.  I have until Monday to decide, so I DESPERATELY need your help!

Contest Details:

1. Leave your suggested roller girl names for me in the comment field.

2. There is no limit to how many names you can submit for consideration.

3. Keep the names appropriate.  I have a niece that reads this blog!  (I will delete any inappropriate comments!)

4. Have fun with it, but this is serious!  I need a really good name that I can be proud of!

5. Make sure to scan the official roller derby list of names to make sure it’s not already taken.

6.  Deadline is this Sunday (April 18th) at 6pm.  Winner will be posted Monday afternoon.
